Four-time Emmy-winner, David Hyde Pierce has landed a recurring role on the upcoming sixth season The Good Wife. The renowned Frasier actor will play a commanding cable news legal commentator who's also mulling a run public election like "Alicia Florrick" was doing at the end of the critically acclaimed drama's fifth season.
Co-Creator and (now) former show runner of ABCDaytime talker, The View, Bill Geddie, has officially announced he is exiting the series in any major capacity. He will remain a consultant during the show's current transitional period. Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg are the only current co-hosts to be formally announced as part of the new hosting panel.
